Tutorship is pleased to announce our support to the Australian Children’s Music Foundation. Right now, we will donate $1 for every new tutor signing up.

The Australian Children’s Music Foundation (ACMF) is a charity that was founded in 2002 by Don Spencer OAM, to provide free, long term weekly music lessons and instruments to disadvantaged and Indigenous children throughout Australia.

The ACMF contracts specialist music teachers to provide free music lessons to disadvantaged and Indigenous children and youth across Australia. Lessons can take place at schools, drop-in centres, Juvenile Justice Centres, PCYCs or children’s hospitals. Lessons can be one-on-one, in small groups, or for large classes.

We as music tutors know the importance of music in children’s education, studies have shown that music can help contribute to a child’s development in all areas including intellectual, social and emotional.
